Here's a link to order the original LG base stand assembly for this model (42LB5D) from a major parts distributor. Please note, you would have to verify the complete model number of the unit as their are 2 versions availible (there should be either a C or F at the end of the model #):
is it a standing pilot? or Spark ing. model? if standing pilot you will need to replace the Thermocouple if spark you will need to replace the spark box
