Acer 4530 wireless driver

Help me to find the wireless driver of acer 4530 (atheros AR5891) series

My wireless is not activated it says there is a switch button located on the side of the computer but there is none or that there is a button combination to press but there is nowhere to find that combination... other sites says I need the drivers.

The only drivers available are for Vista, XP is not supported on this computer.

Are you absolutely sure that you have the correct card/driver combination, make sure you have correct driver. Also install as Administrator, and run any software associated with it as Administrator, too. Go to device manager, right click on adapter, and uninstall the adapter, reboot, then, when it boots up, again, it should "Ask" for drivers, show it were the driver files are. OR don't continue with autoinstall, cancel, and run the install software to do so as said above.

You can download the driver from the Acer website here:
http://us.acer.com/acer/service.do?LanguageISOCtxParam=en&miu10einu24.current.attN2B2F2EEF=3750&sp=page15e&ctx2.c2att1=25&miu10ekcond13.attN2B2F2EEF=3750&CountryISOCtxParam=US&ctx1g.c2att92=453&ctx1.att21k=1&CRC=2054404012

Just select your make and model, then underneath that, select your version of Vista. Scroll down the list of drivers till you find the Wireless LAN from Atheros.

I recently bought an acer 4530 laptop with windows xp.The atheros WLAN worked for a few days, now it is missing and uanble to connect

You probably mistakingly disabled your network adapter with a hard switch or with the keyboard.
Have a look at the User manual or other manuals to solve your problem.

If this is not working, try to reinstall Windows and/or your network adapter drivers
