I bought some songs on iTunes and wanted to put it on my mp3 player, it's a phillips, about a year old, and it's making me do all of this **** like burning the songs onto a CD, well I tried to do that, too, but a message comes up, "Disc burner or software not found..." and I have a new blank CD in the place where the CD's go and that message keeps coming up! Do I have to install some kind of program so I can burn CD's?
Your CD Drive may be just a CD/DVD reader Drive may not be able to burn onto CD/DVD,s my dads laptop cant, he gets same error when he trys, so he had to use a different cd/dvd burner on a desktop.
If you have a desktop or laptop and you are 100% sure it can burn to CD/DVD,s then i reccomend you get a program called "ULTRA ISO" it is shareware but allows burning up to 300mb per cd for free before it asks you to pay so as long as you keep cd files below a total of 300mb you,d never have to pay. if its actually ITUNES which is reporting the error then your CD/DVD drive may require its own software before itunes will reconise it as CD/DVD burner drive. windows media player can report this type of error also.
SOURCE: Burning
The songs have to be DRM-free, so you will have to either get them from Cd's, you will have to get DRM removal software (not reccomended), or you must convert them to Mp3 format.
