Install feed rollers in ADF of HP scanjet 5590

A teacher removed the feed rollers to clean the ADF. Where can I get detailed instructions (with illustrations/photos) for replacing the feed rollers correctly in a HP scanjet 5590 scanner with ADF. A service manual would most likely work also.

DOCUMENT FEEDER IS JAMMING
Try and clean the rubber rollers with Isopropyl alcohol. Do not use any solvents.

Really strange! May be the brightness is not controlled in the ADF mode, too bright to scan data on the backside also. Try reinstallig the software.

ADF
1- reinstall drivers

2- Use the WIA driver for Windows OpSys

3- Pay close attention to options in dialog box. Select ADF or Document Feeder as an option

4- Depending on the OCR application [personally I prefer PaperPort] the imaging process can be very eaasy or somewhat difficult

ADF document feed
Hi, The problem seems to be a piece of debris , paper stuck in the ADF roller assy. You can check this by opening up the adf cover and inspecting the paper path. I have seen where a very small peice can cause paper path problems to where something is blocking the paper> Good Luck!
