Welcome to Digital TV. Not much you can do about it. Unlike analog video where the A/V was in perfect sync, digital video moves much slowwer that its audio cousin, hence the latency. Save for installing an expensive audio delay device, you will unfortunately just have to get used to it.
My personal guess would be that there is no signal coming through to your tv or the wrong signal coming through. I have the opposite problem...we get picture (snowy) but no sound except that of snow and the Audio/Sound options are NOT helpful.
Wish I could be of better help.
sounds like you moved or bumped the tv. the convergence probably needs to be reset. either through the menu on the front or on the remote you need toget to the set-up/convergence screen and line up the crosshairs to reset.
