My sewing machine don't want to work the elastic tread that you use for smocking. I put it on the bobbin. Also, were can I download a free service/ repair manual?

To seek a manual, search the internet for:
Manufacturer + Model + the word "Manual"

Be sure you hand-wind the bobbin with the elastic thread. You may also need to loosen the bobbin tension a bit if the elastic thread is stretching too much while stitching.

My sister just received the euro-pro 9110 as a gift but the manual is in spanish and she needs a manual in english - can you help?

This link no longer seems to exist:
http://www.euro-pro.com/europro/default.aspx

This link sells the manual (language not specified, but the contents are given in English) for $8.00 (U.S.)
http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/32241226-euro-pro-9110-sewing-machine-manual

I cannot find a free english download - lots of broken links and circular links, though, since
"Euro-Pro" seems to have been bought by SharkClean.com, and their web site
http://www.sharkclean.com offers no support (manuals or otherwise) for any sewing machine.

Machine given as a gift no instructions can i down load instructions and print of

We need to know the model number. Is it a Memory Craft 3000 or 9000? Another model number? Also, be prepared that as a Janome you will probably have to pay for the manual IF it is even found. They are tough to find.

Get back to me with a comment back on the model number and I can do a specified web-wide search. I've also got a number of specific sites I use to look for free sewing manual downloads, but Janome's are tough ones to find. I promise to leave no stone unturned, though! That's a nice gift to get!

I am trying to applique using a narrow zigzag. I have put on the satin foot and moved thread width lever all the way to the left, but cannot get a narrow stitch. My new machine also seems very noisey. Is...

Look on page 46 of your manual and you will see the correct way to satin stitch. Also, you should use a stabilizer, like interfacing or good old fashioned gift tissue paper. If, you don't have your manual handy, download one for free at www.singerco.com and it will tell you how to clean and oil your machine, change your needle. Your machine should not be noisy, try placing it on a towel if you are on a hard surface. Good luck, it is not hard, you just need a little practice on some scrap material.

Im having problems getting a straight stitch could you give me the proper settings for crushed velvet, and for a regualr type fabric

I would use a 11/75 needle, then a walking foot if you have one. If, you do not, use some gift tissue paper between layers, or stabilizer. Keep your stitches between 10-12 per inch. Regular fabrics, just your usual stitches that your manual recommends. If, you misplaced your manual go to www.singerco.com and download a free one and save it on your computer.
