Reset memory for ricoh sp5100

It is caused by Resetting / Memory Clear.

1. Turn the main power OFF/ON.
2. Check for condensation on the LDB.
3. Reconnect the connectors between LDB (Synchronizing detector board)
and IPU.
4. Replace the LD unit.
5. Replace the IPU
6. Replace the harness between LDB (Synchronizing detector board) and

Reset what counter? What is the issue? If you mean reset the number of copies? That can only be done with a memory clear which is not a good idea. It clears all internal settings and will not operate properly without a number of settings being re-entered.

Fuser Error. Check fuser thermistor. reset fuser error. go to service mode press clear modes, 1, 0, 7, hold clear/stop. once in service mode turn off main power switch on the left side. turn back on.

enter service mode (yellow key, 1,0,7 an old down the red key )
chose "mode area with the down cursor"
chose "memory clear with the down cursor (arrow)
chose option "1"
Press simultaneously the # key and Darker key in control panel
the machine will reset
swith the machine off and on to end the job

To clear the memory (reboot) the RICOH AFICIO you will have to send it to the factory where they will wipe the memory and restore the machine to its defaults.

The only reason they shouldn't print is due to a technical problem. There are no error messages or red lights at all?? That's very strange.
It must be a software glitch of some sort. You can do a memory clear to empty it out and perhaps restore the proper functioning, but it does set the machine right back to factory defaults, so you will have some settings to restore afterward.

From looking at the manual it looks as if you have a faulty thermistor. When warming up, it has to heat up to at least 60 degrees. If it stays lower then 60 degrees celsius for over 35 seconds and doesn't reach 60 within that time frame then that would cause the open heat error that is happening on your machine.

type 107 then press and hold pink C key

Look through menu for option 5 - Mode then search for reset in there.
