My card
plays some media through media player with no problem, other media (youtube for
instance) not at all and the system sounds only for about a second.
My system
refuses all driver updates (it stops playing sound when I install anything but
the driver from the motherboard cd) and all the tips and suggestion I could
find approximating my problem. I have also installed the K-lite codec pack to
no avail.
I have even
disabled conflicting devices with no result.
System: WIN
XP SP3
Audio
Driver: CMI8738/C3DX
Everything
is reported to be functioning properly.
PS : The
Legacy Audio Drivers ->Properties->Properties allegedly displaying
Multimedia devices, is empty.
Any ideas?
