How to change i900 language from Greek to English.

Hi i bought a samsung omnia i900 but the langauge is in Greek, I want it changed to English. Any ideas on how to change it?

1 : Download & install latest version ActivSync 4.5 for XP ActiveSync 4.5
2 : Download samsung omnia os ZHHH2Z < full update Hong Kong English tested by me

3: Press the 'dial' key to the left of the optical pad to bring up the dialer
With the onscreen keypad input *#1546792*#
Select 'Preconfiguration'
Enter code *#81230*# and select OK
Select 'Hong Kong', with the default Operator
Accept this, DEVICE WILL HARD RESET<(credit goes to modaco forum Paul for this tips)

4 : open i908ZHHH2_ENG from download folder

5 : Turn off the omnia

6 : connect the omnia to a pc using the usb cable

7 : turn on the omnia

8 : click start button if the device found

9 : wait for job done massage

There is no feature on the device that lets you change the language. The only way is to install English language from internet the link is given as
You go on www.samsungmobile.nl

Then choose Support and Programme to download...

You have thus a list of files for languages that you can download.

download the English language

How to change language from German to English in samsung sgh i900 omnia ??!!
On the phone, go to Start>Settings>System>Regional Settings, change to English, but I tried it just now (but on a different phone, but windows mobile, like the omnia) it didnt change anything..

You need a english rom, which you can get from Samsung's Website
I tried to find the model number you gave me but couldn't find it, maybe it was bought elsewhere? If so, make sure you change the region/location on the website.

Changing language
hello to all who have this problem. in order to solve, go to the homescreen and press the bottom left shoulder tab/button. then press the purple folder on screen with the cog/gear in front of it. now notice the three tabs at the botom of your screens, press the middle one. then tap the icon that is the globe/planet. now open the dropdown menu in this screen/window. after selecting english, press the ok command(absolute upper left of the screen). hope this helps! if anyone else needs omnia help, ask me through my profile.
