Which model do you have? The Ergorapido EL1014A has a charging station. On that model, the charging adapter plugs into the port on the bottom of the floor section of the charging station. This port is below the wall section of the charging station. For the Ergorapido Lithium Ion Plus 2 in 1 vacuum, EL2055B, the charger plugs into a port on the back of the main vacuum above the neck to the roller brush head. For a picture of the charging port location, see https://moderncastle.com/vacuum-cleaner-reviews/electrolux-ergorapido-vacuum-review/ . Scroll down to the Battery section to see the appropriate image.
I hope this helps. The manual for the EL1014A is much clearer about charging the vacuum.
Not all items made by Eureka have serial numbers. Unless its a high end machine, there won't be a serial number. You will only find a model number which is just a general number defining what model the machine is.
Christmas 2013 I was given an Electrolux ergorapido. I put it on the charger and red light won't come on or if it by chance does it flashes three times and then cuts off.
I have the same problem with this type of vacum. I have tried a lot of things but the problem is with the software included in a 20 pins chip on the pcb so it can not be repaired. But, if you look in the back of the vacum there is a rubber stopper wich hides 2 pins. Maybe those pins can be used to reset the vacums pcb. I really dont know because in can't test it any more. I solved my vacum bypassing the vacum mainboard (pcb). Now my internal battery is directly connected to the 2 motors using a simple switch to powering on and off. The original pcb is conected only to the batery, recharghing wires and led wires so i can recharge the batery as usual. Sorry for my english, hope you understanded what i was trying to explain. good luck
If the hand held is working correctly (By itself) try pulling up a little bit on the 4 metal connection tabs on the wand. The connection tabs were not making a proper connection on my unit.
If it will not come on there are several things you need to check. First off you should call and have your model type and serial number checked to be sure your unit isnt affected by the recall they had due to expanding batteries. Second you do have a 2 year warranty on the unit and if it wont even turn on there may be a defect. Are the blue charging lights coming on? If they are and your transformer is warm then there is more then likely a defective battery in the unit and you should contact customer service at 1800-896-9756
