Creda Washing Machine Detergent Dispenser not emptying

Creda Simplicity 1000. The detergent in the dispenser is not taken into the machine for the wash.
Water supply to the machine checked O.K. and the machine completes the wash, but obviously the clothes are not clean after the wash

    daveeboy,

    Thanks for your reply,

The detergent gets wet. I thought there was not enough HOT water pressure.

I changed over the HOT and COLD hoses and the detergent was taken in.

I found there was a push in filters where the hoses connect to the machine, and I found the HOT filter dirty.

The blue trap door has been removed so hopefully the next wash will be successful.

Does the detergent get wet?
may be the blue trap door that is behind the detergent in the drawer is set for liquid detergent ie 'closed' and needs to be set to open to allow the powder past. or the holes above the detergent section where the waster comes out are blocked so water goes in another route.
you could always put the powder straight in with the wash to get yourself out of trouble.

Water is coming out of the detergent dispenser

This is probably due to excess detergent blocking the feed into the machine, try removing the tray and washing it in the sink. If this works I would rinse it out every month or so, this could be done in the machine by not putting detergent in the dispenser and putting the machine on a short wash cycle. Hope this helps.

When my washing machine is on the wash cycle and it is using the detergent... water and soap suds pour out of the detergent dispenser and run down the front of the washing machine, why? I use proper front...

Hello,

There is an article of clothing stuck inside the dispenser housing. Remove the top and the housing to get to the hose and clean it out. Very common issue, I know this unit very well.

Why would the machine leak out the detergent drawer when filling?

When the machine starts to wash water passes into the detergent dispenser and carries the detergent into the drum, if the detergent outlet is blocked, or resticted, this will cause the water to leak out of the dispenser.

Check the dispenser to see if an accumulated crust of powder is clogging the outlet holes, most dispensers are removable for cleaning, check your machine instructions for details.

Detergent dispenser does not empty after washing

it could be either a leaking water inlet valve or the pump is not emptying all the water from the machine and when it goes in to spin centrafugal force forces water back up the filler pipe

Fabric Dispenser

The detergent dispenser is located above the detergent drawer. A water pipe is connected to it and water entrance and distributed to drawer's cells (following the programmed cycle) by a lever's movement (part of the dispenser). The lever movement is controlled by two solenoids that received their power from the timer. By opening upper machine's cover you will have an access to the dispenser. Disconnect the power cable from the machine before moving to next test !!!! Look first that they are not any disconnected wires. Move manually dispenser's lever and see if water running to all cells (depend on your movement). In case it doesn't work properly remove the unit from the machine and try to clean it (I hope it will help, otherwise you should replace the unit). In case it works properly (manually) - you should test by a multi-tester solenoid's resistance. the one that doesn't have a resistance measurement should be replaced. Good luck !!
