Need to purchase a new coil/starter

Loosen the chain tension adjustment screw a few turns so that the tang from the adjuster will drop into the large hole at the rear of the bar. You may need to jiggle the bar in and out a little to engage the tang. Once you do, the cover should drop into place securely. With the attachment nut(s) slightly loose, adjust the chain so that it doesn't droop from the lower side of the bar, yet still turns fairly freely by hand. Tighten the fasteners on the side plate and recheck the chain tension. Hope this helps!

I have just bought one and the manual is hopeless but finally I figured it out. If you have installed the chain and guide you will need to remove them, then with the saw lying on the side and chain cover off you will see two holes on opposite side of the oil tank/engine casing
This photo shows the spike in position.

Remington Saws have ceased operations and, unless you like to make your own replacement parts, they are prone to failure. The gearbox is sealed and the motor brushes are not available anywhere. Look elsewhere!

Hello.
Your saw is an Australian product. Here is a link to learn alot more about your saw... http://www.woodworkforums.com/f132/any-baumr-chainsaw-owners-97389/
SOURCE: my Baumr Ag sx62 leaks bar oil.
The white plastic thing you talk about is spare impeler for the chain oil pump, but you should find it is a different thread which will slow down the oil flow, well it did for me. i have owned one of these saws for three years now and it still goes like a freight train. before you put them to use you must make sure the carby is set right. because if its running to lean or not enough oil in the fuel, Yes it will seize every time. All you have to have is a little bit of an understanding in small engine mechanics. Yes they do leak a little oil, just fill it when you want to use it. a chainsaw should use one tank of fuel to one tank of oil, no more than two tanks of fuel to one tank of oil.
