Battery won't recharge.

I own a sansa fuze mp3 player. In the instructions it said to fully recharge the battery before first using it. I failed to read the instructions first. Thus, the battery only recharges a little bit. Do I need a new battery and if so can it be installed at the Walmart Store that I bought it at? How much will a new battery cost ? I'm under the impression that the batterys are called AAA batterys, is this correct? Regarding my battery charging, it only blinks(the icon in the form of a battery) for about 5 minutes.

My sansa fuze will charge for 3 - 5 minutes then stops charging. Where can I get a new battery and does anyone know the price?

Frozen and unable to reset.

When you do a reset, hold down for 60 seconds to clear residual charge, failing that! remove rechargeable battery and repeat process, If all of this fails cheaper to replace unit.

I'm trying to charge my sansa fuze battery. I plugged it into the USB port of my IMAC, but the charge meter on the fuze never changes, it stays with the same charge. Do I need to do something else?

Battery : Remove the back and check and see if
the battery isn't fully connected I put a folded peace of paper and put it on top of the battery and put the back on.

Someone gave me there Sansa Fuze mp3player but they didn't have the instruction booklet. I'm trying to find out how I download things to the mp3 player

You need a USB cable which you need to connect to your computer. This cable also serves as a charger. You will probably need to load(rip) the music from a CD to your computer into a program called Windows Media Player. Then you will use this program (Windows Media Player) to "sync" your MP3 player to the computer from which you can download music to your MP3 player. [email protected]

My sansa fuza 4gb shut off and it wont chare or come back on

Hi!

I had the same problem w/ my 4 GB Sansa Fuze after 3 wks. When I took it back to Future Shop I discovered a commis who showed me the secret way to debug it . You have to push & hold down the "Home" & the "Down/Submenu/Options" buttons simultanuously to reset it. It worked for me.

First battery charge after purchase

I would charge the Fuze fully before first use, actually this is what is recommended. You'll know when it is finished, as you will get a full green battery icon displaying.
The players are not fully charged when first shipped.

My sansa fuze wont charge

Some USB ports cannot supply enough power to charge the Fuze. I had the same problem. I worked around it by getting a wall charger from RadioShack.

Regarding sansa battery

Battery is rechargeable by plugging into computer. 19 hours is probably not right - more like 8 or 9.
