It throws a code oL it means over load and there's nothing it it but water so how can it be reset please

Tilt the unit back & shine a flash light through the clear inner basket & see if there is any clothing stuck in between the inner basket & outer basket. Open the lid & lift up on the inner basket It should move up & down.

The inner tup on my whirlpool washer is loose.

look at this part at www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?=t-LSR5132PQ-%3d%3di541811&PartID=541811 This is a washer's lint catcher and when clogged will prevent complete water removal. As far as the unbalanced check the levelness of your machine in both directions.

Inner basket scrapes on bottom of liner tub during spinn cycle

It sounds like the basket drive block is worn. If it looks like the basket drive block has slid down the brake & drive tube (I believe you're calling it the spindle), it's definitely worn out. When this part is in place it sits on top of the brake & drive tube and won't allow the basket to go lower. To replace this, remove the cabinet to gain access to the the inner basket which you will have to remove. On the top of the brake & drive tube you will see 2 small tabs. Align these with the cutouts on the basket drive block. Mount the drum back on top, and tighten the spanner nut. Reassemble the cabinet and you should be good to go.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
Good luck!

Leaking around center spindle gasket of outer plastic basket

There was a hole in the plastic liner tub from the inner metal basket rubbing on it during the spin cycle. I got some plastic cement and put it in there and it willl hold for a little while while anyway. Not a very well designed washer when you look into the guts of the monster.

Washer tub slowly fills with water

Is your problem a SLOW FILL problem, or a problem with WATER DRIPPING FROM THE RUBBER DOOR SEAL - or BOTH? If you have a slow fill problem, this is generally caused by a bad fill valve, which can be attributed to hard water deposits or well water mineral deposits. Sometimes the fill valve can be removed, cleaned and reinstalled, but most of the time a new fill valve is required. If you are experiencing water leaking from the rubber door seal (bellow), it may be time to replace it. Sometimes the seal can develop a wrinkle or crease where it meets the glass, which can cause leaks. Water dripping from the door when you open after washing a load is normal. Water dripping during a load is NOT. The bellow may also have started to rip or tear inside the door which may not be noticeable until you pull the folds of the bellow back and look underneath it. I hope this helps.

Water leak

Im assuming your leak is at the fill valve entering the washer. Each fill hose has a grommet much like a garden hose. Stop at your local hardware store and pick up some new grommets or replace the fill hoses with a new set. Good luck
