Need to connect my canon iP4000 to my PC

Pleae advise me on how to do this.

Yesterday tou (?) gave me a way to download the software that I need to connect the printer to my PC. I didn't have the time to do this. COuld you send this to me again?

Turn the PC and printer off, connect the interface you wish to use (parallel or USB). Turn the printer on, then the PC.
Windows should find the 'new device' and install basic drivers for it.
If you want to have all of the Canon features available, you will have to download the package from the Canon website.

Unfortunately you have not given the place where you are residing. Then it would have been easy to tell you the place where you can buy the print head. Anyway in the absence of the place I would advise you to go the retailer where you bought the printer. He can help you out to get the print head. OR Go to support web site of Canon and locate Canon service centers near your residence/city and then get in touch with them to get the part or ask them to fix it for you OR you can buy it on line from amazon.com, best buy,com, canon stores.
