Your phone can't use the mini SD card as internal memory. Your internal memory has to many apps, and to much data. (pictures, notes and messages) You should clear up the internal memory, by deleting apps and data. Most Samsung apps you can't delete. The modern phones already have apps, exceeding 10 Gb. So if you bought a 16 Gb phone only 5 Gb is left for you to use for apps. I'm sorry, but the SD cards should be seen as an external hard disk, not as internal memory.
If you thought I can buy a phone with less memory, because the SD cards are very cheap and will extend the internal memory, you made an error. New phones from Samsung now get more than 10 Gbyte of apps, you even can't remove. So only about 5 Gbyte is free to use for other apps and messages.
Next phone, take one with lots of internal memory, if you like to install other apps.

most phones by default store apps on their internal memory and not on the sd card that you may fit the,sd card is generally for music ect
I know from personal experience that this a real problem on the samsung galaxy ace which only has around 800meg of internal memory what could try is download appmanager from the store and try moving any apps that will allow you (and they don't all let you) to your sd card to free up space also check online how much internal memory in built into the phone

Go to settings then wireless and networks, mobile networks, access point names, click menu and reset to default then go back to wireless and networks and click enable always on mobile data.

Hii, there are two ways to increase internal memory of samsung galaxy y duos s6102. either you move each and every app to your sd card or you can also use some software, which are out on Google store, specially meant for increasing internal memory. but according to me, you must use Link2SD app. I have personally used this app on Galaxy y duos and seriously it works good. Go to the "My Files" app, and check what files and downloaded applications are in the phone memory. Try to move the applications to the SD card, then move any other data (videos, pictures, music, etc) to the SD card.

I also recommend downloading either the CCleaner app or the AVG app to clean out junk files form the memory.
