No power I unplugged my Sirius ST2 to remove it from the car while the car was being serviced. When I plugged it back in, I cannot get any power to the unit. I have checked out the car jack and it is OK. I have tried to plug in the power cord into other car outlets and nothing works. The cord and the unit do not seem to be damaged in any way. Help
I now know that there is a fuse in the plug and replacing the fuse fixed the problem. thanks. Jill FowlerI now know that there is a fuse in the plug and replacing the fuse fixed the problem. thanks. Jill Fowler
You blew a fuse in the car plug. Unscrew the top of the car charger and you will find a fuse inside. You can get replacement fuses at a hardware store or Radioshack.

Your power jack needs to be replaced. You can buy a repair service on eBay. You'll need a new power jack if you'd like to repair it yourself, which you'd need to take from another radio.
This could be because of an amp, or it could just be a bad solder joint. Unfortunately, it's impossible to find an amp to replace it because sirius does not release a schematic. So, most likely it's irreparable.
If you would like to see if it's a bad solder, just leave it near a heater and plug it in. If it works, that should tell you that you should reflow your radio. Reflowing is easy, just remove the circuit board from the plastics and heat it up to 800-1000 degrees F with a heat gun. Let it cool and reassemble.
What I did, which was a solution I found on FixYa, is to remove the screws from the back of the unit, pop it open, and resolder the 4 connections attached to the power socket.
Any store that carries Sirius radios should have replacement antennas available. If the connector in the radio is bad, you should get a replacement radio. Sirius customer service is good about replacing them for free in most cases.
I have had the same problem, the actual power jack has come unsoldered from the board this has happened to me 3 times all I did was buy a cheap soldering iron and opened up unit and resoldered this should fix the problem
you have messed up the LCD display probably from the drop and wouldnt be covered under warranty if you could find another unit not working but a functioning LCD they are easy to switch out hope this helps
