SOURCE: Fabric conditioner drawer

Try cleaning inside the the machine where the soap dispenser drawer fits into. Sometimes this builds up with lots of soap and fabric conditioner residue and stops the conditioner from going through.
Take the drawer back out and look inside where it goes to see if there is a build up of soap etc...
hope this helps

SOURCE: Inlet blockage red light flashing

Try turning the machine on its side, undo the bottom and check that the polystyrene float (attached to a switch) is not somehow jammed. This float cuts off the water if the machine leaks internally, and produces the symptoms you describe. It's a really good machine so don't throw it away!!

If that still doesn't help then it might also be the motor brushes, which produce similar symptoms - if your machine starts to fill but then flashes and just drains again, it's almost certainly the brushes. This might be the case after you check the float problem.

Miele W1926 check inlet light flashes at he end of rinse fill

Hi Yugin. That indicates your machines water inlet valve is faulty.(Means it's taking less water then normal)Please check this steps & do it fast before water inlet is finishes:1-Turn your machine on & run empty with pre-wash cycle first.2-Please ajar the detergent drawer & check runing water on compartment one 3-Please press pre-wash button & compare the running water volume on compartment two.If the running water volume 1 is less then 2 or vs.water valve needs to be replace. That's causing problem.I hope that helps.Thanks.

Have a Miele W320, during the rinse part of wash cycle, water pours from underneath the detergent drawer. What can I do to stop this happening?

Is the drawer gunged up? Are you using too much detergent?

Remove the drawer, and clean it with hot water and a brush.

Look into the empty drawer slot for any blockages and remove.

Replace drawer, try pouring hot water into the open drawer to try to dissolve and clear any blockages.

Consider using a dosing ball and adding detergent to the drum.

Hello. My frontload LG Washer started leaking

I have the same problem I think. During the wash cycle, water sometimes starts spraying/leaking from the detergent dispenser drawer. This orignally only happened during a 'NORMAL' wash and when I ran a 'SPEED WASH' it was ok. Now all of a sudden it's doing it during the 'SPEED WASH' also. I though it might be the water pressure so I turned down the flow going to the washer but that doesn't seem to help. If I knew how the detergent system worked maybe it would be easier to solve this problem.

Cloths stink, towels not soft. Can I increase the amount of water used per cycle? How? thanks, jim maxwell

Make sure there are no leaks from the machine. Look behind it and check the water inlet hose and connectors for any damage. Also look under the machine for any water as this may indicate a leak from the internal hose and pipe work and / or water pump. Also check that the outlet hose and door rubber is completely clear of debris and soap scum build up and check that the filter is clean.

You can initially use a bathroom mould and bacteria cleaner to get rid of the immediate problem or wash using a bleach solution made up from 1 part household bleach to 10 parts water. Place this in an aerosol spray bottle and spray the affected area and leave for 10 mins then wipe away and rinse with clean water.

  1. To keep the machine clean of waste or mould build up and to keep any bad odours away
  2. Remove all items from the washer.
  3. Open the dispenser drawer and 2/3 cup (160 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment. DO NOT use more than 2/3 cup (160mL) of bleach per cycle as this will lead to product damage.
  4. Close the washer door and dispenser drawer.
  5. Select the Clean Washer cycle or a full wash cotton 104 F wash (40 C). DO NOT use any higher temperature as this will cause unnecessary fumes
  6. Press Start and allow cycle to complete.
  7. After the cycle is complete, leave the door open slightly to allow ventilation and drying of the washer interior.
  8. Repeat the cleaning procedure monthly
Also from your description it sounds as though you need to use a water softener (washing soda) or use slightly more deteregent and possibly more fabric conditioner inthe wash. Also washing performance can be increased by using slightly higer temperatures and / or a bilogical detergent.

Leaking water

Possible your detergent drawer is clogged with old dry detergent. Pull out the drawer and clean with tooth brush. Things shd be fine. Also use only detergent for 'front loading machines'.
