Re: my dual subs wont light up and my ndual tweeters wont...
Check the wire connection with the lights then bulbs okay then look on the inside of the box for an extra wire for power for the lights if that dosent work

The tweeters are broken then with your speakers and are not working either. The tweeters will need to be replaced for both speakers that you have. It could also be caused by the capacitors being bad as well.
It's been my experience, that intense and low bass comes with a price, always remember u get what u pay for,so on that note,Try to get Rockford Fosgate Competition subs with a punch 250 or 500 trust me that it is a powerful combination.and if u can afford it get a choke to put on ur subs so they will only kick bass put tweeters in the dash and mid range speakers in the door u could use a dual rca jacks to install 2 amps at once and get a punch 45 amp for the tweeters and mids.hope this was helpful
:) the rca jacks have to be connected to an amplifier,, their signal is too lay to even light a bulb.. you have to connect it to a car amplifier and then from the amplifier to the speakers..
Just so you'd know,, once your deck plays and you hear music on your speakers through your normal speaker wires,, RCA jacks work..
Ok you have 4 jacks,, 2 subs and 2 front.. These should connect to a preamp,, which takes 4 inputs and allows you to equalize or adjust how the music should sound,, now from the pre-amp,, it runs to an amplifier,, thats powers the subs and another that powers the speakers.. Some amps have 4 inputs so you can use one amp for your subs mids and heights..
for example a basic music system is
1 cd player 1 pre amp 1 amplifier (4 inputs, 4 channel out)
you bridge 1+2 and connect this to 1 12" double coil sub woofer
the next 2 connect to 2 mid speakers example "rockford or ev 5 / 8 " and 2 tweeters for heights..
Thats a kicking tricked out basic car audio system,,,
sounds like you blew some fuses replace them. then reconnect stock wiring. the get after market deck, amp, and wiring that in it's color coded so it no that hard to do.that 10 inch pa speaker pulls a lot power plus it 8 ohm impudence. your going to need at least a 200 watt amp.bridgeable. or single channel.
i have the same speakers. get a 12volt light tester and make sure that the positive you have going into the light connection on the back has power going to it. not trying to call you out but there are some people out there that just don'y understand this stuff. other than that you can take off the plastic shield and use like a 9volt battery and test each light inside.
well your deck might be bad, you could have a lose connection in your wiring to your speakers, you might not have a connection to your speakers, or your speakers could be bad.
You may have a problem with
either blown tweeters, or a faulty cross over, or both. If you have a
multimeter, you can remove the tweeter, and check it DC resistance.
They normally have their impedance marked on the back of the magnet.
If not, you can assume they should measure 8 ohms. If they measure
open circuit (high resistance), then they have failed.
A good speaker repair guy can often fix
an open circuit tweeter as they often break where the very fine wires
attach from the voice coil to the terminal. you can take a turn of
the voice coil and reterminate to solve this problem. If the voice
coils are burnt, they will need to be replaced.
If the tweeter meters ok, then you may
have a problem with the crossover capacitors going dry. Generally
they are 2.2uf to 6.8uf in value, the smallest cap in the crossover.
If the plastic coating on them is split, or they look a different
colour to the rest of the caps, replace them, if they sound "hollow"
replace em, if you are not sure, replace em. other than that there is
not alot more to look for with a speaker box tweeter Good luck
and happy listening.
