Thank you for the suggestion but I use Chrome for my browser. Maybe I should explain this better. What I mean by the wireless shutting off is I have to push Fn and F11 to turn it back on.

you might have some interference from third party browsers or virus / malware Create Menu tab right click in the top of screen (toolbar) you will see a number of toolbar options select the menu bar This will add to your screen toolbar File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help Select Tools tab then from the drop down menu Mange Add - Ons you will see Toolbar Extensions Search Providers Accelerators and Tracking protection You can remove or disable them right click on them select disable or remove some don't have the option to remove. You might have to many programs trying to or accessing your computer or the internet at the same time or a virus Scroll to bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click select task manager applications and processes to see you whats running and ticking over if you see anything you dont need running select end now and you might uninstall that specific program if you or computer does not require it to run and also under processes see what is ticking over in the background again if you see something you dont need to be running select end now and users you will see who is using your computer http://spybot-search-destroy.soft32.com/ Freeware detect and remove a multitude of adware files and modules.http://www.majorgeeks.com/Microsoft_Secu... microsoft security essentials your operating system must be registered

Thank You again but not the issue. This is my Nieces and I just finished cleaning everything out and updated everything. The Netbook is running beautiful except for this stupid glitch. I had cleaned out all unnecessary extensions and Add-ons. I already have Security Essentials running on this. I've also have run Spyware and Malware programs and everything is clean. You can maybe understand why this is so frustrating for me.

Possibly an unstable driver which needs to be updated Rather doing a driver hunt which can take hours http://download.cnet.com/slimdrivers-fre... Windows XP/Vista/7/8 This will automatically search for and find the correct driver you will have to update every driver individually once you update you might be asked whether you want to restart or make a system restore point. Click no to both of these then continue updating each driver free then restart once all of the drivers have been updated.

you also might need to run a registry clean and delete all cookieshttp://download.cnet.com/jetclean/3000-1... JetClean tidies your registry, gets rid of junk files, deletes broken shortcuts, and attempts to give your computer that like-new feel again. Then delete cookies Here is a very simple guide on how to delete cookies manually from your computer. Click on tools in your browser. This is usually located in the upper right corner of your browser. Click on Internet options. This will appear in the drop down box and is usually at the bottom. Under the General tab look for Browsing History. Under this heading you can click Delete to have the computer delete all cookies for you automatically however to delete the cookies manually click on the Settings tab Click on the View Files tab under the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings box that pops up. When you do a second box will pop up with a list of cookie containing files. This may take a few seconds to load so be patient while waiting for the cookie files to load. Highlight any cookie file that you would like to delete. You can highlight more than one at a time by holding down the Ctrl button on your keypad Delete the files that are highlighted by clicking on the delete this item located to the left in the same box. As soon as you do you will see the selected files disappear. When you are done just X off; this completes your task of manually deleting cookies. You might also do a disk clean up click start click on computer to open right click on your hard drive usually C select properties in the general tab select disk clean up click ok you can view files to be deleted.

Well did both. When I did the Cleaner the wireless shut off again. I did the Drivers update and found I miss a couple. this took some time and the wireless did not shut off. I'll have to wait and see what happens. Thank you for your ideas and I'll keep you updated.

  • Anonymous Feb 03, 2013

I noticed something, if I have active downloading like watching videos and downloading programs the wireless does not shut off. It only happens when the Netbook is idle like I'm readin an article and then go to click on another site that tthe wireless shuts down.

If your Internet Explorer keeps randomly crashing (closing by itself), there may be an add-on or temporary page disrupting the connection. Every time you browse the web, Internet Explorer keeps track of the websites you visit. It keeps these pages, along with cookie trackers, in the "Temporary Browsing History" folder. Some websites cause Internet Explorer to crash.

Open the Internet Explorer browser. Go to "Tools > Delete Browsing History." Hit "Delete All." Check off the box that says "Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons." Hit "OK." Close and reopen the browser. b> Disable Add-Ons b> Go to "Start > Search." Type "Internet Explorer" and hit "Enter." The computer will search for any files with this label. Double-click on the file that says "Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons)." This will allow you to browse in IE without any additional plug-ins or add-ons that might be causing the browser to crash. b> Reset Internet Explorer b> Open the IE browser. Go to "Tools > Internet Options." Hit "Advanced." Click on "Reset" and then hit "Enter." Close and reopen the browser. You might have to many programs trying to or accessing your computer or the internet at the same time or a virus Scroll to bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click select task manager applications and processes to see you what's running and ticking over if you see anything you don't need running select end now and you might uninstall that specific program if you or computer does not require it to run and some unnecessary programs that could be jamming up your computer also under processes see what is ticking over in the background again if you see something you don't need to be running select end now and users you will see who is using your computer

MSI states that "This device uses the native driver bundled in operating system."But the driver may become corrupt, so you'll need to remove it first then re-discover it. To do so, follow these instructions
Go to Start\Control Panel\System and Security\Device Manager
Go to Imaging Devices, you should see the camera there. Right click the name of your camera and choose uninstall. After it gets deleted, go for
Action\Scan for hardware changes. It should discover your camera automatically.

If it still doesn't work, check your video calling application for video camera setup.
