My oven has burnt my kitchen units next to the door...surly this should never happen

1. Open the oven door and remove the 2 screws at the side of the inner glass window 11cm above the hinges and lift off the door. Place it somewhere safe!
2. Remove the 4 screws that you can see nearest to the left and right edges of the oven with the door removed. These secure the oven to the kitchen unit.
3. Slide the oven forwards about 20cm out of the unit, being careful not to pull on the cable.
4. Each hinge is held in place by 2 screws at the side of the unit now exposed, about 18cm apart. Remove them and slide out the hinges. Reassembly is the reverse of the above.
5. Note that the hinges have no means of adjustment. If not working properly, renew them.

I looked up the parts break down for this model there are 7 different ones your last 2 digits are missing this unit dos not use torsion springs the MW door should have a brown arm riveted to the door that goes into the frame this activates a switch

Hi dont know if you have solved this but our cooker was doing something similar.on one side and the dorr seal was fine. I turned off the mains, took the side panel off and it turned out the insulation inside had slipped down. I bought some more from eBay.co.uk and replaced all of the old stuff and now I have no problem....1 year on. Hope this helps

there could be a couple if things that cause this one is the control board the other is the door locked mechanism and the third thing is the door switch. you should be able to directly connect bot the wire together and see if that changes the operation. aslo make sur to check the wiring to the unit and make sure every thing is connected properly.

Yes this glass is tempered to resist heat not cold. It is very unstable at low temps. Hope this answers your question.

It is quite common for this problem to occur.
There is no one satisfactory explanation for this to happen, but happen it does.
DO NOT use the oven until you have it repaired.
Contact the makers or one of their repair agents to get a new door glass fitted.

the kehc359jss mircowave won't start, it says "door" on the display but the door is closed.
