I have a panasonic home phone want to remove the voice mail sign and light flashing

To remove the voicemail indicator and stop the flashing light on your Panasonic home phone, you can try the following steps:
1. Access the voicemail system: Dial your home phone number from your Panasonic phone or another phone and let it ring until it goes to voicemail. Enter your voicemail password or follow the prompts to access your voicemail messages.
2. Listen to and delete all voicemail messages: Check your voicemail inbox for any new or saved messages. Listen to each message and follow the instructions to delete them. Ensure that your voicemail box is empty.
3. Exit the voicemail system: Once you have listened to and deleted all voicemail messages, exit the voicemail system by following the prompts or hanging up the call.
4. Reset the phone: Disconnect the power adapter from the back of your Panasonic phone base unit. Wait for about 30 seconds and then plug the power adapter back in. This will perform a reset on the phone and clear any residual indicators.
5. Check the voicemail indicator: After the phone has rebooted, check if the voicemail indicator is still active or if the light is still flashing. If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
6. Disable visual voicemail feature (if applicable): Some Panasonic home phones offer a visual voicemail feature that may trigger the voicemail indicator and flashing light. To disable this feature, consult the user manual for your specific model and follow the instructions to turn off the visual voicemail function.
7. Contact Panasonic support: If you have followed the above steps and are still unable to remove the voicemail indicator or stop the flashing light, it's recommended to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your phone model and help troubleshoot the issue.
Remember to consult the user manual for your Panasonic home phone model as the steps and features may vary slightly.

I want to change the greeting on my outgoing voicemail and cannot remember how to do so? I know I pushed a particular button and held it but it's been years since I've needed to change.

The TGA-101S isn't an answering machine, and thus doesn't have an outgoing message. Please consult the documentation for your answering machine, or else repost your question specifying the make and model of the answering machine.

I have recorded an outgoing message. However, at the end of the new outgoing message an old obsolete outgoing message starts to play. How do I get rid of the old outgoing message?

Hi,
You will need to remove the old message. There SHOULD be prompts. IF NOT try going to a very quiet room and hit record but do not say or make noise and this will record silence over the old and new message. Then attempt to retry.
ALSO - look for a 'reset' button and remove all batteries if you have power outage back up batteries.
Unplug the phone - and try again.
Here are the instructions from the manual:
To Change Your Personal Greeting:
1. Press the Check Voicemail key or press the Feature button, then 981
2. Enter your password
3. Press the ADMIN softkey
4. Press the GREET softkey
5. Press the REC softkey
6. Press the PRIME softkey
7. Press the YES softkey
8. At the tone, record your new greeting, press the OK softkey to end your recording and then the OK softkey again to accept the new recording

Best of it

I can't record the outgoing message.

I believe that I've found the answer you've been looking for. After
looking through the support section of the Panasonic UK site, linked
to from the above link, I stumbled upon the manual for your phone. It
can be downloaded at:
http://www.support.panasonic.co.uk/sys/ttips/Panasonic/Communication_Products/Dect/KX/TCD735/KXTCD735.pdf
(You should right click on the link and click Save Target As to save a
copy to your computer)

Detailed instructions on how to record a new outgoing message can be
found on page 78 of the manual, but I'll list the simplist way here
for you:

1. Press INT then #
2. Press 7 and then 6
3. Record your message, press 9 when you're finished

It's also possible to record a new message using the menu on your
phone. Detailed instructions for that can be found in the manual, also
on page 78.

I hope that solves your problem! However, if you need any further
clarification on this answer, please feel free to ask.

Changing main voicemail message

This may be specific for my system, but hopefully it helps:

Connect to your voicemail (for us, we can either hit the voicemail button or dial 1650)

Once in, press #6, it will ask for a mailbox number, dial *9998, it will ask for a password (the default is 1234#)

Press 5 to modify messages.

Press 3 to record custom service menus.

It will ask you to pick which menu (1-100). Our day menu is 1, and night is 2. I'm guessing yours will be the same.

From this point, it becomes the same as recording a standard voicemail greeting. It will play the current greeting and you can press 1 to re-record it. Do so, and then press #. Press 2 to accept and you're done!
