It wont play and windows media fils so none of my ringtones work? can this be fixed or has anyone herd of this happening?
Have you tried a soft reset? With the phone on, remove the battery...put the battery back, restart the phone and see if that corrects your problem.

How to hard reset your

1. before powering
on with the button on top of the phone hold down the Up key on the direction
pad/dial and while holding this down push the power button on top of the phone
2. a screen will
come up asking you do you want to reset
the phone back to factory settings
3. follow the
prompts saying yes and there you have it your done, you can finally get back
into your phone

Soft reset didn't work
My phone just started doing this today. It also tells me that my ringtones are corrupt and cannot be played. These are the ringtones that came with the phone, so they aren't ones I downloaded that have issues.
