Magenta Color Turned on our TV this am (Super Bowl Sunday!) and the picture is pink! We've gone through the owners manual adjusting the picture quality, ColorMaster, Color Palette, etc. We've "re-set", manually adjusted. Finally got rid of the magenta-completely-so there's no magenta in the picture at all. Picture is TERRIBLE!

could be a colot wheel gone bad or stuck

Ur tv probally also have the board call the Ballast board is also dead beside the projection lamp was replaced before.This board call the Ballast board job is to help to ignite the projection lamp.About an hour before the Super Bowl.Unplug,replug the tv back about an hour later for the tv for the Ballast board might have some juice left to ignite to light up for projection lamp for the last time to have tv picture to the to watch the Super Bowl.Must replaced the Ballast board.

Please adjust TINT control of Video Settings in Menu that will adjust color tone of TV. I do not think this problem is related with Lamp because TV screen does not have any color blobs or spots.

If you have installed photo cyan or photo magenta, your prints will be off color. This machine only uses plain cyan and plain magenta.

If the problem is not the connections, try adjusting the tint on your television. A high tint setting will usually create a green
image on the screen where as a low tint will create a more red hue. In order to access your television's tint:
1. Press the “MENU” button on your remote control and use the LEFT or RIGHT arrow keys and select the
VIDEO menu.
2. Then use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to highlight PICTURE SETTINGS and press the "ENTER" button on
your remote.
3. Next use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to highlight TINT then use the LEFT or RIGHT arrow keys to adjust the
TINT. If the picture is too green the tint will need to be lowered.
4. Once you have adjusted the tint to your liking, use the DOWN arrow key to highlight DONE and press ENTER. The toshiba customer service telephone number is : 1-800-631-3811. I hope this helps you with your problem.

depending on how much you paid for the tv , the cost of the repair may be more than the tv is worth. but if this is a large tv , then the repair would be most likely worth it

Take time to get used to the settings, you may think the screen looks dull at first. The truth is most people have way too much contrast on their TVs.

The back ground of tv is green,so i might guss the problem is mono chromo ic.what do u tell me about color?
