To access the No-Frost System located on top of your Miele tall freezer F7462 SNH-1, follow these steps:
Unplug the freezer and remove all items from the freezer compartment.
Locate the air grille on the top of the freezer.
Remove the air grille by pulling it upwards from the front edge.
You should now be able to see the No-Frost System behind the air grille.
Use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust or debris from the No-Frost System.
Once you have finished cleaning, replace the air grille by pushing it back into place.
Note: If you are not comfortable accessing the No-Frost System on your own, it is recommended to consult the Miele customer service or a professional technician for assistance.
Simple th E means error
That e20 then mean error 20 which mean timing will need to be restet .check on the timing bello or beside the display start reduce the timing and the problem solve.
Might need a freon top up. If the compressor is functioning there may be in sufficient freon . This can be topped up. A repairman/technician can diagnose this fairly quickly
Well, no, actually. P2 is an error related to the evaporator temperature probe. I would start with the electrical connections, the bond between the probe and the evaporator, and the evaporator fan.
From a previous post for a different Miele freezer: "I emailed Miele and this is what they reply:
Thank you for your interest in Miele products. That message is a ice fault. If the ice has stopped production, please turn the toggle switch off under the electronic touch panel. To find this please reference the owners manual on pages 7 and 9. I have included the owners manual in case yours is missing. If your machine still produces ice fine just shake the cubes around making sure none are built up along the back wall of the ice drawer. If this continues please contact our service department. Please reference incident number 2698767 should you need to call in.
For more detailed information, please visit our web site at www.miele.com or to speak with one of our representative call 800-999-1360."
Haven't tried yet, but will post again if it didn't work, otherwise should be the answer"
I own an Imperial freezer and it has a superfreeze switch. The schematic electrical diagram on my freezer shows that the superfreeze switch when activated, bypasses the temperature control thermostat and keeps operating the compressor motor non stop. Try switching the superfreeze to off after you reach your desired freezer temperature.
It means there is a wiring error in the door. The only way to fix this error is to get a new door. What a pain! I had the same problem and the freezer was only 1 1/2 years old - thank goodness the manufacturer didn't charge me.
