False paper jam on HP J6480. partial reset doesn't work? Is there any fix

When resets don't work, there is a deeper problem. The sensor for paper feed can be bad and you can tell if you hear a fast zip sound shortly after powering up. Also a paper scrap can be lodged inside stopping the paper present sensor from working. Also when paper feed is started if the roller is dirty and can't pick up paper it will report that as a jam. Take a look inside and write back if nothing helps.

Epson Stylus Photo R350 giving a paper jam error message

An Epson service man (he was VERY kind to suggest this) told me to use a weak detergent solution on the rollers, NOT alcohol as that will dry out the material the rollers are made of. Although the problem has recurred a couple of times, it's worth repeating when necessary. I actually activate the 'print' command so it tries to feed in paper, while I FIRMLY hold a piece of fine cotton cloth stretched over a thin plastic ruler, which I hold down where the paper feed grabs its paper. The printer has a couple of tries to feed paper, reports an error message (because there was no paper) and I activate it again, thus exposing the WHOLE of the feed wheel to the cleansing cloth! WORTH A TRY!

Panasonic FP-7781 paper feed issue

I forgot to add to the paper lift issue, which might be the reason for your 'paper jam' error:
Take out the paper tray/s, make sure that there is no paper caught in the back of the machine. Sometimes paper can block sensors that makes the printer think the tray is up.
Also double check your trays. There should be a little flap that you can use to manually move the paper lift. Make sure that that's not broken.
One common cause that I found with all copiers is that people fill up the tray and then push in the tray harder than it should be pushed, which will loosen the guidelines, and with most new machines, will throw codes if the paper size is reporting to be different to the one you have in there.
And that's a second common cause, the paper size. Sometimes if the paper used is different to the size shown on the machine, it will stop the print because it's expecting a certain size and the sensors didn't see the correct size.

Paper jam in Panasonic KX-

Your document feed is separate from your received and report prints so that's why your reports are printing ok and the document feeder jams. When you open up the doc feeder and look inside the machine you will see a roller and above it on the cover that opens you will see a rubber pad. Clean both the roller and pad (in fact anything in there that is rubber) with a rubber cleaner, alcohol, or even soap and water on a cloth without it been dripping wet. You will probablt find that they are very dirty. The roller feeds the document in so that needs to be clean and the pad helps to keep all the other docs from feeding in at the same time and that should be very clean so it produces good friction.

Epson c90 paper feed problem

Is the message general error? The problem is tchip. When turn on chip is recognized by printer, but when start to print, printer "read" some information from the chip. Here is the error. Some pin at the chip for redaing the existence of chip, other pin for reading the information. Check connector between chip and carriage.
