Hi !
Our freezer door was a gap open for about 8 hours. The temp display was certainly blinking. We cleaned the thawed stuff out and re-powered the freezer. Since then the freezer part doesn't seem to get colder than 41F. I checked the rear for frozen pipes but it looked ok. I then left the fridge off for an hour and restarted it. No help. Any idea what I could do?
The coil inside of the freezer is probebly still frozen up with ice. Take a shop vac and open the freezer side after shutting the unit off and blow the air from the shop vac into the vents that are on the back side of the freezer until you can feel good air flow out of the very bottom of the freeezer. You can contact me and I will assist you if you need more help.
