You won't be able to send e-mail messages without a BlackBerry data plan, or some sort of data plan. To use BlackBerry e-mail you need a BlackBerry data plan. There are some third-party e-mail clients out there, but they require some sort of data plan.

I cant receive messages on my blackberry but i can send messages which settings of my messages can i set?

Quick way round this problem is to contact your mobile network and ask for your message settings otherwise back up all your information on Blackberry Manager and factory wipe or update your handset, orignal settings will be set to default.

I have a blackberry pearl 8100 and i erased the service center number by mistake! Now i cant send SMS messages, i can only recieve. Some one please help i really need this phone to work!

In this case you have to contact you're service provider to send the service center number. Once they send you the service center number save it you will be able to send SMS.

The roller ball won't work in all directions, also now it won't keep any call history and I can't receive messages and the ones I send have a "D" on them, I assume for DRAFT, but I never set the phone to...

The roller ball is a more than common problem for the BlackBerries. Contact Motorola at 1-800-331-6456 adn they will send you a prepaid box to have it shipped to them. They will either fix the ball or replace the phone. Take out your sim card because you may be without a phone for a week or two. Perhaps you have an older phone to use in the meantime that you can place your SIM card into.

For this please check if for the network issue buy sending a PIN to PIN message if you are able to send a PIN to PIN message then the network is fine if you are still getting red X the contact your service provider so that they raise a service request to the network team.

Cant send messages from my blackberry 8100 with an error message of "requested facility not subscribed"

Hi,
Common with blackberry phones :).
You need to add service centre number to your blackberry cellphone. This feature isn't activated/ added when you purchase that.
The service centre number depends on your network. Call you operator and ask for service centre number. Add it to settings and you would be able to send sms's.
Thanks for using Fixya.

Blackberry pearl 8100 wont let me email pics

Assuming you have an 8100 pearl I believe for some reason this phone does not do mms. either that or the following is true.

With certain wireless providers a BB data plan may be required for MMS to function. For example, T-Mobile has a $0.00 feature that can be added to a persons account to enable MMS (which is included in messaging packages) without enabling full data capabilities. I believe Alltel offers a similiar feature. Contrastingly, ATT BB's cannot send or receive MMS without the $30, minimum, BB data feature being on the account. I'm waiting for a class action suit against ATT for taking subscribers money for messaging packages, that include picture messaging, but not providing all of the services being paid for by some PDA phone users.

Mms not on my new blackberry 8100

First, ensure you have full data service showing on your blackberry 8900.

May need to check with your service provider to put on the proper data feature(s).

Then, on the device it’s self: press the Right Convenience key on the side. Frame the subject, Press the Trackball. Now, press the menu key Scroll down on the list to “send as MMS” You can now select a contact. (Either one in your contact list or a one time only) Press menu and continue. Scroll to subject. Enter that in. Scroll to message box. Enter in a cute little message. Press Menu key (once more!) and then SEND!
You’ll see arrows going back and furth.

For best results, send with +1_area code_number
If this is your first time sending MMS’s, send yourself TWO MMS’s with the same number format.
