How do i download oovoo off a school computer

didn't the school administrator explain that the laptop is school property and that games are not allowed and that is why the down loads are blocked
obviously you are not interested in learning anything so maybe the school would be better off giving that laptop to a student who wants to learn

You have to use another system than the schools network.



The whole idea is to block use of the Facebook website from clogging up the school network and ban illegal up or downloads.

Resetting your system back to factory setting does not change your id/login to oovoo except that you will need to re-install the program for oovoo (download from site).

Try downloading with a different browser.

There is a good chance that this impossible to do unless you obtain the administrative password, which in itself is another impossible feat as System Administrators do not pass around such sensitive information as to make sure that the school system remains healthy.

Try reinstalling the newest version of oovoo from here:

http://www.oovoo.com/Download.aspx

After you reinstall, restart your PC/Computer and the problem should be gone.

If that doesn't work. Uninstall oovoo, reboot your computer, reinstall oovoo, reboot your pc again, and then it should work.

If you are referring to blocking Oovoo using Windows Firewall, try to follow these steps: - Open Start menu. - Click on Control Panel. - Click on Security Center. - Click on Windows Firewall, which is located at the bottom. - There should be 3 tabs. "General", "Exceptions", "Advanced". - Click on the "Exceptions" tab. - Scroll down until you find "Oovoo". - Tick the box next to it. - Then click on "Ok".
If you followed those steps, you shall have unblocked Oovoo from Windows Firewall.
