Head set inop xbox 360

that's still considered wireless in order for you to talk and hear your friends talk that cord that goes into the Controller to the headset or mixer is the only way you can talk but if you don't want to talk you can go to the settings on the xbox and play though speakers

Your control settings have likely somehow become inverted. While in-game, go to the pause menu and select options. Make sure that Look Inversion is DISABLED.

what your friend is telling you is the truth, this occured with my WAW disk so i borrowed my friends, wrote it onto my hdd and used my borken disc to play the saved format, so go a head have fun playing mw2 in the future :)

call of duty has a history of being a console killer, if your xbox 360 version is older, your console engine might not be able to keep up with this kind of game, I had an xbox 360 b4 and same thing happened it plays on other games but wont play with call of duty. It also happened to my ps3, what I did was I updated my firmware version for both console. Now both consoles works with call of duty. Give it a try. Thanks

sounds like its INVERTED....chk your control setting and set it the opposite of what it is and try that.

i might be able to help... go on to setting go to controller setting and you will have multiple different ways your controller will work look at the one it is at before you change it then try different controller setting if that diddent work write back ;)

well.. try going to your setting and look around and try to find some thing that says head set setting or some thing you might have to activate it so you dont think they can hear u??? well if is has a little speaker sign beside it like normal they should be able to hear u?? hope that helps:)

If your xbox is stuck in standby, you've got some issue. Unless you pressed the "standby" button on your router while playing Halo 3 at a weak attempt to try and cheat other players, and then your xbox 360 became stuck in "standby"mode, I have no idea what you are talking about. Elaborate. And if this occurred after prressing standby while playing Halo 3, you probably deserve having a broken xbox 360 since you were probably trying to cheat against me! As for the guy who's life revolves around Call of Duty, you have to stop playing sometime. Either when the console actually breaks from all the cheezy poofs and mountain dew you place on it or M$ poorly designs the xbox 360's to do this intentionally.
