Hi, i am trying to find a profram to use my Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 1.0A. I lost the disk and just formated my pc

The keyboard needs to support either wireless or bluetooth

If you check the exact make in kijiji or craigslist you might find.

did the keyboard come with a driver (CD) , if so , reinstall it

if possible, would you be willing to reinstall the recovery Cds to your computer to have a clean set up ?
do you have the recovery Cds -- this means formatting your disk drive --sure, you can back up your important stuff, but i think a reinstall of the recovery Cds is good for the entire computer

what about virus s/w -- what do you use ?

(The closest I could find to yours was the "Wireless Ergonomic 4000" so maybe u need to change regions on the website?)

you need to resync the mouse and keyboard to the wireless receiver. you hold the button down on the receiver until you see a flashing light and then you press the button on the bottom of the key board. then you do the same thing for the mouse.

press button on all three devices. the light blinks on kbd and mouse. then go ahead and do the add device. It should do.

Microsoft Wireless Desktop uses Intellitype and Intellipoint software. The latest version available from Microsoft downloads is 6.1 from December 2006. Download and run this selfinstalling software and all of the functions will again be available.
