My craftsman garage door opener will go down but when it gets to the bottom it reverses and goes back up unless I stop it with the remote or switch. Is there an adjustment for this problem?
Check the down limit:
If the light bulb(s) on your operator are on the front and/or back, the limit adjustment screw is on the left side of the operator (looking from the back of the operator and facing the garage door).. If the lights are on the sides of the operator then the limit adjustment screw is on the left side (looking from the back of the operator and facing the garage door).
Check the up and down force:
On your operator (the box that hangs from the ceiling). If the light bulb(s) on your operator are on the front and/or back, the force adjustment screw is on the back of the operator. If the lights are on the sides of the operator then the force adjustment screw is on the right side (looking from the back of the operator and facing the garage door). Turn the light blue adjustment screw with the up arrow to a higher number.

I tryed the adjustment screw with now Thanks for your help but it looks like a new opener.
I tryed the blue adjustment screw again. previously I turned it up part way with no results then all the way with no results. This time I backed it up just a little from max and it worked ok. Thanks again for the help.
