Leaves a scum on the dishes

My Bosch DLX series dishwasher (less than a couple of years old) is leaving a scum - a white powder, on the dishes after the wash.
I have added jet dry and did it again but it is still the same.

Any ideas besides replacing the unit?

Hard water is the reason for the white film. There is a new product out at www.dishwasherfilter.com that is made specifically to fix this problem. It filters the water going only into your dishwasher leaving your dishes spot free with every load. It is very affordable and guaranteed to work or your money back. You will love the way your dishes look after the very first load.

Sounds like your water temp is too low, there is a heating element in the bottom that heats the water that is circulated,if it goes out it wont get hot enough to dissolve the soap,or clean your dishes.its not to difficult to replace.
