F3 Fault I fixed a f3 fault two months ago with {powermans }help by replacing the oven sensor.The oven worked great until this morning. F3 fault sounds and flashes again.

The F3 codes mean that the oven temperature sensor has a problem. In the case of the E4 error, it is an open circuit. (If the GR465XLS0 is a double oven model, it's the lower oven with the problem with the sensor.)

You need to replace the sensor. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that you have provided the correct model number. Most Whirlpool ovens have an extra character in the model number. If your model is the GR465LXLS0, the temperature sensor will cost ~$65. One source is http://www.appliancepartspros.com/Appliance-Parts/whirlpool-oven-sensor-assembly-item-number-ap4326911.aspx .

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F3 in your range/oven means oven temperature sensor circuit failure. To resolve this issue you’ll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced. Concerning the F1(Stuck touch pad)


Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code cannot be cancelled, replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC), touch pad, or both.
