I tried to get in touch with navigon, the main company. however i got sent around several sites with no joy. i did not get a users manual in the box when my daughter purchased it for me for christmas
The above solution only gives the specs.
Go into the Navigin site. Click support, then under topic select downloads. You should then get the option of the user manual for the 12er and 22er. Select your language and it should download the complete instructions file, all 58 pages of them

The Navigon I got had user manual is stored in it. I connected the Navigon to the computer using the USB cable supplied and copied the manual from the Navigon to the computer.
If you connect the device to the pc,(dont need internet) there is an option for you to get manual. this is preinstalled on devise
User Manual can be found at www.navigon.com/mobility. Its written on the bottom of the box. 50+ pages of it though!

Getting on to site to download users manual for the navigon 1200 is as difficult as trying to have dinner with the Queen.
Halfords stated that Navigon do not put user manuals with the 1200. What's that all about?
navigon just keeps searching fir GPS signal and never finds anything
tried to download manual for help and this was a complete wast of time. I could never recomend this product

I have exactly the same problem. There was no manual in the box that I brought for my Mum and it seems it is impossible to find a copy to download!
