MC9190 will not scan a certain barcode, but the MC9090 will, what could be the problem?

I have a scale that produces labels, the MC9090 will scan it, but the new MC9190, will not, what could be the problems in the settings?

Did you select the correct bar code you wanted to scan. As I know, for code 128, some bar code reader classify code 128 to 3 types, if you didn't choose the correct one, it cannot be scanned.

Hi,
Firstly you need to know exactly what 'symbology' or type of barcode you are trying to scan. E.G. 128CODE, ect.
Once you know this make sure 'DataWedge' is installed and go to the settings section of the software.ensure that the type of barcode you are printing is selected in the settings. After this is should work.

The application, can be configured to read the barcode. There is an application on the scanner it will tell you what the barcode actually is. either Scanwedge or Scan both should be in the Sample applications, or from the desktop click on "Olt"

you can download MS active sync from microsoft website. then connect the gun to your computer to sync it. Once it sync, drag the barcode app to the windows folder in the gun.
