Double check to make sure there is no floppy disk or CD-ROM disk inserted when you boot. If there is definitely no floppy or CD, your hard drive may have crashed or been corrupted. You can try installing Windows again, but it might not work if your hard drive is faulty. If it's faulty, you'll need to head to the local computer repair shop or have a geek friend help get and install a new one, then reinstall Windows.

Sound's like you've had a hsrd drive crash. The message 32768 kb ok is a memory test, this indicates that something went wrong with the operating system the last time it was shut down. It should, after the memory test, either correct the system problem or give an error code. Since it does nothing, this indicates that the hard drive has failed and, unfortunately, needs to be replaced.

SOURCE: Compaq 6910p Notebook does not recognize a SD-MMC

If the memory card is recognized and readable in a USB card reader, the memory card is fine. If the 6910 does not recognize the memory card, either the card is not properly seated in the 6910 card reader slot, the card slot is not connected to the main board of the 6910 or you need a DIFFERENT device driver for the 6910.

Can I use a usb stick with a MC 10000 and a USB-B to USB-C female cord?

The Janome Memory Craft 10000 does not have a USB port for direct connection with a USB stick. Instead, it uses a PC card slot for data transfer. Therefore, you cannot use a USB stick with the MC 10000 using a USB-B to USB-C female cord. You would need to transfer data from the USB stick to a PC card using a card reader and then insert the PC card into the MC 10000.

What do I need to do to transfer data from my proscan tablet to a usb stick?

It's better to use a SD card and transfer your files to a computer/laptop. From the computer/laptop you can put your files on your flash memory USB stick.

My dsc-w310 wont connect on my computer, it says switch on usb mass storage which is on? what to do?

Sometimes it is easier to remove the memory card from your camera and connect directly using a card reader. Modern computers often have a card reader built in for the popular cards like and SD card. Sony often have 'Sony Memory Stick' cards. This would usually mean you have to purchase a card reader separately unless it is a Sony laptop. Card readers are less than 10 GBP each often only 5 GBP. Connect card reader cable to a USB port open windows explorer or my computer, create a new folder on your computer and then click and drag the photos from the card reader to the folder on your computer.

My gsp only has a sd card no usb slot so how do i transfer the update to my gps Thanks

Depending on the type of GPS you have, you have a few options...

If the update instructs you to put the update files on the SD card, you need a means for your computer to access the SD card. This can be done by using an USB SD card reader, which can be picked up at your local electronics, digital photography store or online.

If you have another device that allows the transfer of data between a computer and the device (and it uses SD cards), you can put the SD card for you GPS into your other device, connect it to the computer through USB, and transfer the update files. For example, if your digital camera uses an SD card, you could put the GPS SD card into the camera, and then connect the camera to the computer.

Make sure you're updating correctly - sometimes the update is a file you run on your PC that in turn transfers files through a different means onto the GPS. Read the manual for your GPS for more information regarding transferring files onto the GPS and updating.

I want to transfer music from my computer to my cell phone...other laptops have a sd memory card slot...where is the one for the compaq cq60-466dx

Your laptop may not have a sd memeory card slot, if it has it should be either the front or either side, if none there, you can link your mobile phone to your laptop using a compatable usb. Should have had one provided when brought your phone.

I don't know how to transfer pictures from my SGH J700 to my PC

If it has a removable memory ( micro sd card ) then you just take that out and you need a micro sd card reader then you insert the card and then plug the micro sd card reader in the computer and then click on it like you would with a usb stick.

If it does'nt have an sd card in the phone then you have to buy a cord from **** smiths or telstra shop for you model of phone.

If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask

Transform Duo Stick into an SD card ~ Possible?

Hi Qwin,

Although you cannot directly use your Duo Stick in a camera which supports SD, you are able to purchase a memory card reader to support both formats. This means that you can transfer data from the Duo Stick or the SD onto your computer, and then put the data onto the other card.

Thank you,
Jason,
