The 1yr old Dell 3100cn I have suddenly will not feed through the duplex mod. When ever I try to print two-sided documents, the paper feeds through the regular paper path. Only the first page comes out then I get a 077-105 Error "Paper Jam Fuser". Of course, there's no paper jam. This error message flashes with "Open Duplex Mod Remove Paper." Again there's no paper. I've pulled off the duplex mod and set every thing back to the original state. Then I reinstalled the duplex mod, but the problem remains. Any ideas on why the duplex mod no longer feeds paper? Thanks!
DO NOT BUY DELL 3115cn color laser printers-will not duplex printer and Dell has no record of my purchase so refuse to help me plus their online manual will not come online. Purchase from Hell. Their records show my printer is in their warehouse even though it is in my living room.
I'd suggest it is a sensor issue. Since the error comes up, the printer stops responding - even if everything is okay.
DUPLEX OFF/ON
This item appears only when an optional duplexer is installed. Set
the value to ON to print on both sides (duplex) or OFF to print on
one side (simplex) of a sheet of paper.
The default setting is OFF.
Print on both sides (Duplex) Click Print on both sides. If you will bind the document along
the top edge, click Flip pages up.

I have a similar problem where I get "Paper Jam" error with the instruction to "Open Duplex Mod". I've only printed 5500 pages, barely enough to get through one complete set of toner. The problem occurs once every month or two and somehow self corrects after opening and closing every latch on the printer. And of course, there is no paper jam. Dell's tech support didn't resolve the problem. As an IT professional, I'm disgusted and not happy with Dell. For the $700 that I paid for this printer, I've had more trouble than any other printer. I'm inclined to never buy Dell printers again. Very disappointed.

I have checked all the paper paths & have not found any paper jam. I've cleaned everything I have access to. I've tried removing the toners & cleaned them too. The paper jam error message will not go away. Please help.
