I own a Samsung refigerator model RS2533SW. The filters have never worked. Water does not flow through them. They are the correct filters, and have tried several. (Dealer recommended, and top names. Not a filter problem). The manual says that water will not work if the filter is removed. But... Mine works when I remove the filter, no change in flow or anything.
Seems as if the filter portion is bypassed. The supply comes into the filter housing, then to the ice and water dispensor from there.

Water tastes bad and service is horrible. Serviceman is 30 miles away from Seattle, and is a no show, and hard to locate. Warranty is worthless so far.
My next move is Best Buy, FTC, and Dept. of Consumer affairs.
