Water filter on refrigerator not working. Samsung

Try replacing water filter. when you get the new filter fill it up at the sink first. after you install it run about a gallon of water through it

Is it possible that the filter is on backwards? There may be something in the filter that needs to be removed for proper water flow. Or the filter needs to fill to get the air out for water flow.

Try replacing the filter again, If it works again then you might want to think about putting some sort of water softener system in your home

Make sure you have the water flow corrct through the filter

There is a dual solenoid water valve. One solenoid controls the water dispensor the other is for the ice maker. If its under warranty you should definitely have it looked at.

DID YOU ALIGNE THE INDICATOR MARK (UNLOCK POSITION) AND PUSH IT UP WHILE TURNING 1/2 TURN UNTIL THE LOCK POSITION IS ALIGNED. REMEMBER TO NOT TO OVER TIGHTEN THE FILTER.

when you look into the freezer where the ice maker is do you see something hanging underneith the ice maker? if you doi that is the sensor. If not contact me and I will walk you thru the steps to correct the problem.

Can I Use the Water Dispenser Without a Water Filter? The water and ice dispensers will work without an AquaPure water filter installed. The water filter housings are designed as rotary valves that allow the water to bypass the water filter whenever there is no filter or the filter is not in the lock position.
Models designed for use with the AquaPure water filter are shipped with a cap in place to cover the opening and keep it free of debris prior to the installation of the water filter. It is not necessary to have this cap in place for the unit to bypass the water nor is it intended to plug the housing to prevent leaks.
Note: This does not apply to the Quatro Convertible models. The filter must be installed on this model.

The instruction book suggests this could be because the freezer temperature is set too low. Mine is set at -20C. It says the water line can freeze stopping water flow. Try reducing the temperature.
