Most frost free refrigerators take water from the freezer so you do not have to defrost the freezer. That being said there should be a drain under the crisper. Check to see if it is clogged.
you may need to put something under the refrigerator to collect the water..

Check carefully for spillage from a container on a higher shelf. If it's VERY humid where you live, you may also be picking up condensate.

I understand that you are receiving water at the bottom of your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FPUI2188LF. What can cause this is either humidity coming from outside your refrigerator or maybe from the crisper drawers. Make sure your crisper drawers are set for a high humidity. Another thing that can cause moisture build-up at the bottom of your appliance is not covering your foods. although most frost free freezers will hardly ever frost up,some will,(it depends on overall humidity)by frost free the makers say "food is frost free"but the inside is shinny plastic and all shinny surfaces will collect condensation and frost up.(look under the salad crisper,condensation?)it is worthwhile, about once a year,doing a complete defrost(NO sharp objects)and vacuum out all the vents/clean out any drain holes.

This is usually just a switch for a mullion heater that prevents condensation from building on the outside of the fridge between the doors. It has nothing to do with humidity inside the refrigerator. If your house is humid as not running an air conditioner, set the switch to high.

If you have a lot of ice collecting in the freezer the door gasket is probably bad causing the compressor to run overtime which will probably cause the refrigerator portion to cool as well.
You might check the freezer and if very cold set it a bit warmer. I do not know what you have but these may save you some $$$. While you are at it check the freezer, refrigerator, condenser and condenser fans.

possibility's:


1 There is a drain that carries away the water under the cooling coils. These coils are in the freezer section.

2 The damper going to the crisper( s) is open too far allowing cold air to cause condensate on the fridge wall or bottom.

3 The freezer section is not defrosting and there is a spot where the ice buildup is allowing conductive cooling into the refrigerator section and therefore is allowing condensation on the refrigerator wall or ceiling.

4 The refg section has a heater (possibly not positive) in the area of the door frame, or it may have a "power saver" switch. This switch and the heater (if it has a heater it may not have a switch) are designed to stop condensation on the refridg while running. I fit is placed in the "power save" mode it turns off the heater. But, if you live in extream humidity (Great lakes east side or Gulf coats Houstion...) the humid air will condensate water out and it will collect and settle on the floor.

5 Door gaskets are not sealing especially on the bottom of the door. This allows warmer air into the fridge section and it is condensation on floor under the crisper.

i never go by that / just hold my finger over the air port and move it till i feel move air or less to set it the way i need it ,,, less air puts less air into crisper to cut down on freezing
