You either have a problem with your power supply board or main board. I would start with having the power supply fuse checked as well as the power supply board!

My Sony 26" Bravia stopped working after a electrical storm. I opened the back and found an blown fuse. I replaced it and it's been working ever since. Good luck.

It sounds like an Intergrated Circuit (IC) has fried. Even on a good day, this is not something you can attack at home. As a tech (and as an owner of that model samsung), I'd need a map & tools to know what's going on. Your best bet in this situation is to contact Samsung and let them recommend an authorized service center in your area. Sorry I can't be of more help, but this is a rather serious problem.

SOURCE: sony bravia kdl-52w3000, turn tv on, no picture or

Most likely this is caused by a defective main board. Changing the main board will fix the issue about 95% of the time.

To be absolutely sure, the voltages need to be checked on the power supply. If they are not the values listed in the service manual, then you should replace the power supply instead (accounts for the other 5% of the time).

KDL-52w4100 won't turn on and LED blinks 6 times

Bus clock and/or data lines low at power on. 6 blinks of standby light denotes this. Actually, it should be a motherboard problem. Your TV need a thorough checkup before confirmation. If you wish to get more details about the blinking codes to Sony TVs, check this link.

I have a Sony Bravia, Model: KDL40BX450. It's red 'stand-by' light has suddenly gone off and I cannot turn on the TV. What's going on?

I have a sony Bravia 40" LED TV. KDL40BX450.When I turn my set on it has no sound. And the standby light blinks three times and pauses. I have unplugged it. and even reset it to the factory settings. And as long as the set is on the sound works.but once I turn it off. and turn it back on later.it does the same thing again.no sound. what could be wrong .And is there anything I can do to maybe fix it.

Our Sony Bravia Tv was turned off at the wall and now won't come back on, the standby light won't come on, and the fuse is working as we've checked it in other appliances

If theres absolutely no power and no lights on, it sounds like the fuse inside the t.v.. It is pretty easy to change. You have to take out the screws on the back of the t.v. and take the back cover off. Look for a 3/4" glass tube fuse and see if the tiny wire in it is broken. Pop it out and bring it to radio shack and get a new one. Put that one in and try it, Make sure the t.v. has been unplugged for at least 2 hours before opening it so the capacitors have time to drain. They will hold power and could shock you if your not careful. Also, dont use anything metal to take the fuse out.
