SOURCE: The light inside the KOR-1A1G/KOR-1A1GB oven has burned out.

If there's no obvious removable cover over the bulb (most often on the rear or side) and the owner's manual doesn't address it, then disassembly will be required.

You'll need to remove the outer cover (wrapper) to get to the bulb.

Always unplug a microwave before removing or installing any bulbs.

If it's an over the range type, remove the vent grille across the top and see if bulbs can be accessed there. There may be a panel on the bottom covering the light(s), instead.

If not, chances are you'll have to remove it from the wall, then remove the outer cover. If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

Once it's out of the wall, the outer cover (wrapper) will need to be removed, just as you'll need to do on a counter top model.

On a counter top model, be sure it's unplugged, but otherwise ignore the instructions above this paragraph.

The screws you need to remove should be pretty obvious, but a special driver (such as a T20H type or GTXH20-100) may be needed.

Be sure to put all the screws back in the right holes, since some may be special grounding screws.

Bulbs (or 20A ceramic fuses) can be had locally in most grocery stores, hardware stores, home improvement centers, and big box or department stores.

Many models use halogen lamps. You must not touch halogen types with your bare skin, as the oils will shorten the bulb life.

I opened my daewoo kor-1a1g microwave the other day and i thought the bulb burnt out but the lights on the screen went off as well and i cannot use it at all, is it broken? it worked perfectly beforehand...

If its total dead look to see plugged in and voltage where plugged in, it will also have a fuse inside that might be bad from a surge or a short.

If not able to open unit consider having a tech look at it and get an estimate.

Not a problem. I just want to know where to find the wattage for the microwave oven. It is a KOR 1N0A

The Daewoo KOR-1N0A is rated at 1,000 Watts with a 1.1 cubic foot capacity. The manual and documentation are available from the Daewoo site: http://www.daewooelectronics.co.uk/daewoo-product.aspx?folderguid=0039D237-8626-41AE-9D67-8F347C0C3B26&listguid=D897DFDF-A16E-452A-BB1A-7544B98F24DD . The links for these are near the bottom ot the page. If the direct link doesn't work, start at http://www.daewooelectronics.co.uk/daewoo-products-details.aspx?folderguid=DD695DCA-E930-41AC-BD76-1F59753A64B1 and then search microwave and then the model.

I hope this helps.

I want a replacement turntable model KOR-1B4H. So far it has been impossible to replace the glass try

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, and a list of Dealers as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.
