You need to reinstall your printer.
If you have your installation CD do this: Uninstall the old software -go to Start>Control Panel>install and uninstall>scroll down until you find your printer if it is still ther and click on uninstall.
Turn off the machine and unplug it
Turn off all your running programs including your virus control, using the icons on the lower right .
Restart your computer.
If you do not have the CD you can down load the driver at the manufacturers site. It will be www.(brand of your printer).com or you can google to find the correct site. Once there go to drivers and downloads and search for your printer model and op sys . Make sure that you choose the correct driver. Once you have located it, turn off all running programs, download it and SAVE it to your desktop. then click on it to install.
Follow all directions above just as if you had the CD.

If you have got a USB receiver for the wireless keyboard and mouse, then the solution might be with the receiver. Normally we know that to play a USB thumb drive, we simply plug in and play. But some model of Acer computer require us to press the button on the thumb drive to activate it. The model I had (an Aspire model) set the press button same as the blicking light bulb. So (a) turn on computer, (b) plug in thumb drive receiver (c) press button on the drive, (d) press "contact" button on the mouse and keyboard. That works for me.
