Via wifi or under its own data plan?, anyhoo, swipe down from top and make sure wifi is turned on. If using your own data plan from provider, go in to settings, select the mobile data tab near top, and turn that on as well

I have been trying to connect my LG-P970 to the internet but no use because I need to enter proxy data and I can't find anything called proxy in the options

Hi,

Follow the below steps, you do'nt need to install any PC suite, driver nothing.
1.Connect your phone via data cable. Do NOT turn mass storage.
2.Go to Settings->Wireless & Networks->Mobile Networks->Enable Data enabled checkbox
3.Then Settings->Wireless & Networks->Tethering & portable hotspot->Enable USB tethering
Now you can browse without giving proxy or anything. It just works like a wired connection.

Thanks,
Mr.Maduraikaran.
