Try this : See if you can find your motherboard model number. If so, type it into Google, go to the manufacturers site and download a manual which should have the wiring diagram you require.
Cheers.

Transferring motherboard from Gateway SX2801-07E to another case. How do I connect the motherboard front panel headers?

  1. Identify the headers: Locate the front panel headers on the new case and on the motherboard. Make sure that you have identified the correct headers and that they are compatible with each other.
  2. Check the pinout: Refer to the manual for the new case to determine the pinout for the front panel headers. Make sure that it matches the pinout listed for the motherboard, as mentioned above.
  3. Connect the wires: Use the pinout information to connect the wires from the new case to the appropriate pins on the motherboard. Make sure that each wire is securely connected and that there are no loose wires that could cause a short circuit.
  4. Connect the HDD LED: The HDD LED can be connected to pins 13 and 14 of the front header (LEDH1).
  5. Connect the power LED: The power LED can be connected to pins 3 and 4 of the front header (LEDH1).
  6. Connect the reset switch: The reset switch can be connected to pins 7 and 8 of the front header (LEDH1).
  7. Connect the power switch: The power switch can be connected to pins 10 and 11 of the front header (LEDH1).
Make sure that you connect the wires correctly and securely, as an incorrect connection can cause damage to the motherboard or the front panel components.

Problem with panel front conector in Dell Dimension 2200 motherbo

The following information is to assist you in performing the right connections. You should take precautionary measures such as grounding yourself and completely disconnecting the PC form any source of power.

This picture shows the connector for the front panel power button, reset button, and power and hard disk lights: an 8x2 pin connector with 1 pin missing:

0505a76.jpg
The table below lists the pinouts for the connector. The orientation of this table is the same as the picture above, this shows the top part of the connector. All the pins below pin 8 appear to be non-connected.

Each pair of pins labeled Power and Reset goes to the 2 wires for the corresponding button. The hard disk and power LED wires connect to the corresponding LEDs, you need to ensure the proper polarity of the + and - wires for each LED or it will not illuminate.

The above information is for your information only.

Hi . I have foxcon 760gxk8mc-rsh motherboard and i disconnect all wires.I connected most of it and only don't know where I should connect power sw and reset sw( in which pin)

If you do not have you're manual for the motherboard open the link provided below and download it; http://www.foxconnsupport.com/download.aspx?models=en-us0000190&category=C000000001&series=en-us0000003&keywords=&sort=Motherboard
You will also need to download and install Adobe reader in order to view the manual. Download Adobe form the link; http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/
Open to page 4. This is motherboard layout.
Turn to page 13. Here you'll see how to connect the front panel, [FP1] jumpers. The wire colors define which wire is positive and which wire is negative. Each set will have a common color. This common color will be used as negative.

Is It required to connect Tower Front Panel I/O to Motherboard

The power button on the front panel would definitely need to be hooked up to the motherboard so you can power up the computer.

If you have any usb slots or a media card reader on the front panel, or both, then you would need to hook those up as well, otherwise the main one you need to connect would be the power button.
