How to connect the Polaroid Pogo to a computer

The3re is no cable provided.

Do I assume that I need to purchase a double ended USB cable?

  • Anonymous Mar 22, 2014

I don't have the charger or cable for this, but I do have all the rest needed. After an extensive search for a charger I am unable to find one. Is there a separate charger I can buy for the type of battery used or an alternative that will fit into the printer. I just need to charge the battery and it seems Polaroid have made it near impossible to do so if you lose the charger.

You can only connect the Pogo to a PC by using a Bluetooth wireless connection. Once a bluetooth connection is established between your PC and the PoGo you can print by simply using Explorer to send a JPEG file to the PoGo via Bluetooth (no printer driver needed).

Setting on charger for a Polaroid tablet, 6V, 12V, Help

Not sure of the model number of your polaroid tablet you have. Generally the adapter should be an AC adapter for 220V or 110V depending on country. It is unlikely you will have to select 6v or 12v. If you are unsure charge the tablet through the USB cable connected to a computer. It might take a bit longer to charge and make sure the computer is connected to mains charger to avoid drain on computer (laptop, etc) battery.

If you have a 7" tablet then I am assuming it is a PMID705. See manual on this link.
http://www.southerntelecom.com/upload/polaroid/pmid705/PMID705_User_Manual_20121210.pdf

The manual says it is a 5v DC output connector for the adapter. Not sure why you are asking the question. If in doubt send email to polaroid support on the address at end of the attached manual.

Please remove the usb cable from the computer and printer and reconnect again and check it that is it printing properly. If it not working remove the printer from the computer then uninstall of the printer software and reinstall from the cd, when it ask to connect printer then only connect the printer after that it will print properly.

How do i upload the pictures from my i532 polaroid camera?? i need help asap

The best way to transfer pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

When connecting the usb to printer and camera when i go to print it says usb error

The two devices are probably overloading the USB power. The total power output on one hub in the computer is limited to 500mA. If they work separately, this is most likely the problem. The way to fix this is to purchase an inexpensive powered USB hub (it will have a power supply to plug into the hub as well as the USB cable to the computer).

Wont print from digital camera

Look in your camera settings and change the connection from USB to Pictbridge. If that's possible then you should be able to connect.

Cant connect with nokia 6300 bluetooth

Check to see if your Nokia is Bluetooth enabled. Check your manual provided with the phone. If not you have to find a phone or camera that is compatible.
As an alternative DL your photos to your computer and send to the Pogo. Ckeck to see if your computer is Bluetooth enabled.
You may have to get a USB Dongle to transmit the file.

Use of polaroid PoGo Zink printer with PC

The PoGo can connect to a PC with Bluetooth only. Once you establish a Bluetooth connection with your PC, simply copy any JPEG file to the PoGo using Explorer. No printer driver is needed, just copy the file to the PoGo over the Bluetooth connection.
If your PC doesn't have Bluetooth, you can buy a USB Bluetooth dongle for $5-$20.
