If your Singer model 600e's bobbin case is stuck, try the following steps to remove it:
Turn off the sewing machine and unplug it from the power source.
Raise the presser foot and the needle to the highest position.
Open the bobbin cover and remove the bobbin from the bobbin case.
Locate the lever or button that releases the bobbin case from the hook race. Depending on the model of your Singer sewing machine, this may be a lever, a button, or a latch.
Use your finger or a small screwdriver to press or move the lever, button, or latch to release the bobbin case from the hook race.
Gently pull the bobbin case out of the machine.
If the bobbin case is still stuck, do not force it. Instead, seek assistance from a trained sewing machine technician or contact Singer customer support for further advice.
Sounds like thread or lint has got on the centre spindle of the hook. and jammed bobbin inside case. unclip race and remove hook and bobbin assembly. remove feed dogs and all tangled thread. machine should then be freed up
I would recommend using an authentic bobbin case and bobbins for your Bernina. Your dealer will have them. Just be sure to tell them the model you have.
FWIW, you can remove the shuttle hook and bobbin case by turning the 2 little black levers at the bottom right and left in the bobbin area, Once you do that, the circular piece that holds the bobbin mechanism in place can drop down and the bobbin case and shuttle hook can be removed as one unit. You should probably do this frequently to brush out the lint and debris and to oil the "shelf" where the hook resides. Oiling the hook shelf should be done about every 8 hrs of sewing.
Well you may please follow the steps below - 1. Remove the bobbin from the sewing machine. Note: whether you have a drop-in, front or side-loading bobbin on your sewing machine. A drop in bobbin will load from the top, may be via a removable bobbin case cover near the machine-fed dogs. A side or front loading bobbin needs to be loaded into a removable bobbin case under the machine. 2. Choose the right size bobbin for the sewing machine. 3. Wind thread onto your bobbin. Your sewing machine should have a standard thread spool to hold the thread and a short, squat post wide enough for a bobbin. 4. Put the thread and empty bobbin into position on your sewing machine. Wrap the thread around the bobbin to start it. On most machines, disengage the needle by turning the smaller hand-wheel on the machine toward you. Push the bobbin post into position, securing the bobbin into place. Press gently down. Thread should begin to wind neatly onto your bobbin. 5. Break the thread, push the bobbin post back into an inactive position and remove the bobbin. Tighten the hand-wheel. Thread your sewing machine again if necessary before loading the bobbin. 6. Remove the bobbin case cover and put the bobbin into position. The thread should slide through a catch on the bobbin case and up through the cover. 7. Access the bobbin case for a front or side mount bobbin. Lift the catch and remove the removable bobbin holder. Put the bobbin into the holder and run the thread through the holder, bringing it to the front. Lift the catch and slide the bobbin holder back into the case. Hold your needle thread gently forward with your left hand and turn the hand-wheel. The needle thread will pass down into the machine and catch a loop of the bobbin thread. Pull this loop up and slide both threads to the back before beginning to sew. Good Luck!!
Remove the needle plate for better access and try using a seam ripper to gently cut the threads and continue to remove with the tweezers.
The needle plate is the metal plate under the presser foot and is held into place with at least two screws.
The bobbin fits into the bobbin case.
The bobbin case fits into the bobbin shuttle.
Once you get the jam cleaned away, raise the needle to it's highest position and remove the bobbin case and/or replace the bobbin case.
Jamming can cause the machine to be out of time.
If you thead the machine with the presser foot up, have the bobbin inserted into the bobbin case correctly and the stiching is loose and loopy the machine may need to go into the shop for service.
Thanks for using FixYa. Turn the power switch off before inserting or removing the bobbin. When inserting or removing the bobbin, the needle must be fully raised.
First open the hinged cover and pull the bobbin case tab and remove the bobbin case. Now hold the bobbin case with one hand, insert the bobbin so that the thread runs in a clockwise direction. Now pull the thread through the ****. Hold the bobbin case by the hinged latch and insert it into the shuttle.
Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.
the lx 3125 has a front loading bobbin case which must be removed by pulling the latch on the bobbin case and thereby pulling the bobbin case from the shuttle.
once you have the bobbin case in your hand, let go of the latch and the bobbin will drop out of the case. you can now wind the bobbin or replace it with a wound bobbin - make sure that the bobbin thread is threaded down the slot in the case and behind the tension spring, also the bobbin should turn clockwise when you pull the bobbin thread when loking at the bobbin in the case.
please follow the instruction
1. raise needle to its hieghest position
2. remove hand hole cover plate
3. remove bobbin case from shuttle, pull open latch of bobbin case
4. pull bobbin case straight out of shuttle
5 insert bobbin into bobbin case making sure thread is coming from bobbin.
6. pull thread through slot
7. pull thread under tension spring
8. holding latch open position case into shuttle, and release latch. case should lock into place when latch is released
Designer 1 bobbin case tension adjustment:
When the bobbin runs out, sometimes it bends the bobbin case tension spring. Then tension is too light. Take the bobbin case out of the machine. Tie the loose bobbin thread to the Designer 1 needle plate. Insert the bobbin in the bobbin case. Here’s the tricky part set the bobbin case on the table as if it’s in the machine (Bobbin is visible and sitting horizontal to table top) threaded as if sewing and loose end tied to needle plate (that is removed from the machine). Lift the bobbin case off the table rotate it so that the flat side of the bobbin are vertical to the table and no longer horizontal. Have the bobbin case oriented so that the thread coming out of the bobbin case sprint (slot area where it is put for sewing) is at the top. Lift it high enough that the needle plate is lifted from the table. It should not release thread unless you shake it gently and then a very small amount of thread. The needle plate is the exact weight resistance your bobbin case should have on the thread.
