How do you reset the change filter light , have replaced filter

Filter indicator : The filter Indicator will be Red when you have used your water filter for 6 months, Reset the indicator (it will be Blue) after replacing the filter by holding the "Alarm/Hold 3 sec for Filter Reset" button for 3 seconds.

Yes the filter needs to be changed after the change filter light is indicated.After changing the filter the unit has to be reseted.The reset procedure is as follows:--- press and hold the Water Filter Reset button for 5 seconds. Newer models: press the Options button until "filter change" is selected, press selection buttons +/- until the "filter change" display goes out.-------------------- Thank you.

The filter status light will help you know when to change your water filter. The light will flash and change from green to yellow. This tells you that it is almost time to change the filter. It is recommended that you replace the filter when the status light changes to red OR water flow to your water dispenser or ice maker decreases noticeably. After changing the filter, reset the filter status light by pressing the button. The status light will change from red to green when the system is reset.
1. Press the eject button to release the filter from the base grille. 2. Pull the filter straight out. 3. Turn the cap counterclockwise to remove it from the filter. IMPORTANT: Do not discard the cap. It is part of your refrigerator. Keep the cap to use with the replacement filter. 4. Align the ridge on the cap with the arrow on the new filter and turn the cap until it snaps into place. NOTE: You can run the dispenser without a filter. Your water will not be filtered. Simply insert the cap all of the way into the base grille and rotate the cap until it is firmly in place. 5. Remove the protective covers from the O-rings. Be sure the O-rings are still in place after the covers are removed. 6. Push the filter into the base grille. The eject button will pop back out when the filter is fully engaged.

The Water Filter Status Indicator Light serves as a
reminder to replace the water filter. A green light
indicates that the filter is in good condition. A red light
indicates the filter should be changed. Once light turns
red, it will remain red until function is reset.
To Reset Indicator:
• Press and hold both the Lock and Water
buttons simultaneously for four seconds. The
green filter status indicator light will flash
three times when the function has
successfully reset.

After changing the filter reset the status light by pressing and holding the FILTER button for three seconds. The status light will change from replace to good when the system is reset!

Press and hold the lock and light buttons (lock and water on newer fridges) on the dispenser for about 4 seconds, until the indicator light blinks

Turn off the unit
Open the filter cover
On the top right corner, there is a small hole
Push a paper clip into this and the change filter light will stop blinking.
