Hi
Warning This will RESET to FACTORY DEFAULT

There should be reset hole with a button in it if you press this and hold it in. count to ten then release, this will reset it to factory default setting.

If you are not wanting factory reset you will have to login to the linksys the default IP is 192.168.1.1 login name admin password admin.. that is you havent change it. and from there you can find your settings and change them..

Good Luck

Need driver and firmware for LinkSys RTP 300, or how to set it up for simple home network with interneton the PC and laptop as the 2nd computer.

No drivers are required since there is no actual installation to to the computer. Connect the ISP modem to to the main LAN network port. Then use any available port to access network. 1.Power 2.Main drop. 3.Network. That's it!

If the router is used, you may want to reset custom settings by, holding in the reset pin till it cycles.

Advance setup.

Hello,I have connected a linksys voip

Hello dandashi77,

I am using a Panasonic DECT 6.0 Series cordless phone. However, the VIATalk.com VOIP Services uses a LinkSys PAP2 adapter which can work with any type of phone. A Broadband connection is required to use the VIATalk.com VOIP service. Setup is very simple and the instructions areeasy to follow. Just a few simple things to do.

Connect my phone adapter

You need to register/subscribe to a VOIP provider first like Vonage and the likes. Then you need to register through your VOIP provider the phone ports of your router. ISP is different from VOIP.

Linksys SPA2102 interfearing with winmx/360 sharepro, frequently resetting connection

If your planning to connect the phone adapter behind a router make sure that the following ports are open/forwarded on the router; UDP ports 5060-5061, UDP ports 16384-32767 take note that 5060 and 5051 one are SIP ports and must be assigned to the IP address of that was assigned to by the router to the adapter or the IP that was manually configured on it.

I found a link that could help you check the setting on your linksys phone adapter

Hope this will help you solve your VOiP problem...
