The HDMI processor section circuit should be troubleshooted. Work is a skilled one. Contact any experienced service technician. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact the nearest service center

If you are mechanically inclined and have tools you can unplug and remove the back of the set. Photograph all stickers on the board with HDMI connectors. This is usually called the "Main Board". Search Youtube for instructions to read the board's part number. Then search online stores for that part. You may find a used board taken from a working set with broken LCD panel. Buy online only if the seller will allow you to return it for a refund if it does not fix your set.

Onkyo tx-sr604 help

You said you tried hooking the HDMI up directly from the TV to each component, and that worked. How is it usually hooked up - through some kind of switch? I'm not completely understanding your setup here.

Samsung plasma tv has vertical lines

The most cost effective thing to do is just replace the TV. The cost to repair will be close to the cost of a new LED flat screen, they are very cheap now.

Hdmi circuit fried in thunder storm! radio still works just can't get video through hdmi circuit! Can the hdmi circuit board be replaced and how expensive would it be? Is it just a radio boat anchor...

Depending on your TV input/output, you can run your video components to TV via HDMI then run your audio out via digital optical, RCA, or other means to receiver. If you have more than one HDMI input on TV or, if you can use component for video to TV, you can then run audio to receiver. Video pass through to the receiver is not the best way to hook up your system. Let me know if this makes sense to you.

I was gone for a week. Upon my return, the tv

Your power supply board needs to be REPAIRED not REPLACED, replacing the board will just make the problem happen again in two years or less, if you can use a screwdriver you can send me the board and I will repair it for less than it would cost you to do it yourself ($50) with the correct components. Email for further instructions! Cory Schindler [email protected]

Won't power on; had big storm. tried to turn tv on but it is like there is no power to it. every thing else is working

The storm you discribed may have caused an electrical surge that may have damaged a circuit component. Unfortunately, the days of taking off the back cover of your TV and replacing a defective tube or fuse are long gone. Proper servicing will require troubleshooting procedures that can only be performed by a qualified electronic repair facility or professional television repair person. Ask for an estimate and a realistic appraisal of whether the set can be adequately fixed. Depending on the age and condition of your TV it may not be cost effective to repair.

Lightning storm and all hdmi connections stopped working

It may be a problem with the DVRs. You can rule that out by connecting a different HDMI TV to one of the DVRs.
